During the months of October and November Iris Vos visited some of our retailers in Europa to Introduce Puredistance WARSZAWA. These travels have been incredibly inspiring and fruitful. It is truly amazing to meet all the motivated and knowledgable people who are working in the stores, both in the store itself and behind the scenes. Scroll down to join me during my travels.
I started my journey by taking the train from Groningen to Antwerp. In Antwerp I visited Le Maison du Parfum, where we are exclusively sold in Belgium. At Maison du Parfum I met with store-owner Osnat, who is proudly holding WARSZAWA in the picture above.
From Antwerp I took a swift Thalys train to Paris. In Paris I visited Jovoy Parfums rares in the 1st arrondissement near the Louvre and Palais Royal. Here we are beautifully represented, our Crystal Perfume Columns taking the spotlight in the store.
In the late afternoon I walked through characteristic Le Marais. In the heart of the neighbourhood, Puredistance is represented by Sens Unique. After a fruitful training, we enjoyed delicious food at Miznon in the Jewish Quarter.
After Paris, I flew to sunny Marbella in Spain. In the scenic port of Puerto Banus, filled with yachts and luxury stores, we are represented in Bar a Parfums. Such a prime location! Bar a Parfums’ owner Ayyub (on the left in the picture below) proposed a great idea for dinner: restaurant Lobito de Mar, which serves amazing fish & seafood by Michelin Star Chef Dani García. A feast for the senses (Like Puredistance)!
From Marbella I traveled on to Istanbul, Turkey. A different world..! Next to visiting the two Home of Scents stores we are represented in, I visited Bazaars, tried Turkish Delight and enjoyed amazing sites like the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia.
From Istanbul, the plane took me to Bucharest in Romania! This country with its beautiful landscapes, tales (Dracula) and amazing architecture always holds a special interest for me.
Romanian perfume blogger Adelina Tomescu (Adelinnasworld) traveled all the way from her hometown to meet me in Bucharest, something I highly appreciate! We enjoyed a lunch at traditional Hanul Lui Manuc and could talk about all the things ‘Puredistance’ 🙂
From Bucharest I traveled to Budapest in Hungary. In Hungary we are represented by Zsolt Zólyomi’s perfumery Le Parfum at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Budapest.
After Budapest I returned home – filled with Puredistance-energy. All in all these travels have been a true joy, and it makes me proud to see our beautiful presentation around the world!
